Finding your way around
The sidebar has four groups and about a dozen pages. Most people need four of them. Here is what each one is for, and which ones you can safely ignore for now.
Team, advanced analytics and a few integrations unlock on higher plans, and Referrals appears only for partner accounts. If a page below is not in your sidebar, that is why — not a bug.
Platform
Where you build things.
| Page | What it does | When you need it |
|---|---|---|
| Dashboard | Call volume, minutes used, recent activity. Your morning glance. | Daily, once you are live |
| Setup Guide | The guided path that creates your first agent, buys a number and deploys it. | Day one, and any time you add a new agent quickly |
| Agents | Every agent you have. Create, edit, duplicate, test-call, suspend, delete. | Constantly, while you are tuning |
| Tools | Actions agents can take mid-call — transfer, hang up, SMS, your own webhook. | Once you need the agent to do more than talk |
| Integrations | Connect your CRM, calendar, spreadsheet, store or automation platform. | Once, per app, at the start |
Agents is where you will live
Each agent row carries the actions you use most: Edit to change instructions or voice, Test Call to have it phone you, and the phone number it is attached to. If you only bookmark one page, bookmark this one.
Communications
Where calls happen, and where you watch them.
| Page | What it does | When you need it |
|---|---|---|
| Call History | Every call, in and out, with recording, transcript, duration and outcome. | Every day at first. This is how you improve an agent. |
| Call IQ | Records calls your human reps make and drafts a sales order from each one. | Only if you have salespeople phoning customers |
| Campaigns | Upload a contact list and have an agent work through it on a schedule. | When you have a list to call |
| Lead Callback | Rules that fire a call the moment a lead arrives from a form or Meta. | When speed to lead matters — usually immediately |
| Phone Numbers | Buy numbers, connect ones you own, and see which agent each is pointed at. | Setup, then rarely |
Read transcripts, not summaries. Ten real transcripts will tell you exactly which sentence in your instructions is being misread — something no amount of theorising about prompts will.
Resources
| Page | What it does | When you need it |
|---|---|---|
| Knowledge Base | Upload documents or point at web pages the agent can search during a call. | As soon as callers ask about prices, policies or products |
One knowledge base can be shared by several agents, so a price list uploaded once serves your receptionist, your outbound agent and your after-hours line.
Account
| Page | What it does | When you need it |
|---|---|---|
| Billing | Your plan, minutes used and remaining, invoices, and upgrades. | Check it in week one so nothing surprises you |
| Team | Invite colleagues and set what each can do: owner, admin, member or viewer. | When more than one person touches the account |
| Referrals | Partner accounts only — your referral link, commission and payouts. | If you resell or refer |
What to open first
If you have just signed up, in this order:
- Setup Guide — get an agent live. Twenty minutes, including the fiddling.
- Agents → Test Call — hear it. Be a difficult customer.
- Call History — read the transcript of that call and fix what annoyed you.
- Knowledge Base — upload the document it needed and did not have.
- Integrations — connect the calendar or CRM, then attach it to the agent.
After that, pick the playbook that matches what you are trying to achieve and follow it to the end.
Questions about the interface
I cannot find the page a doc is referring to.
Check the sidebar group it belongs to — the four headings above match the app exactly. If it is genuinely absent, it is almost always a plan gate; open Billing to see what your current plan includes.
Can I collapse the sidebar?
Yes — the arrow at the top of it collapses to icons, and on a phone it becomes a menu button. Useful when you are reading a long transcript.
Is there a page that shows what is happening right now?
Dashboard shows calls in progress and today’s totals. For a specific call as it unfolds, open it in Call History — the transcript fills in during the call, not only after it ends.
